"...Could be meat, could be cake..."
Sigh.
Thanks George. And farewell.

Humor Me, Please, As I Count The Ways....
...I am feeling really good.
1. Familially. My brother is visiting from Taiwan. As are my fantastic nieces, Annabell and Natasha. And here they are:
(Also pictured: my fantastic and local niece, Abbie.)
I bought "Operation" for them. After briefly checking it out and pronouncing it a "weird" game, they became obsessed. It is all they wanted to do for hours. It is all they wanted me to do with them for hours, too. Yay "Operation"
2. Because it's June. Perhaps my favorite month, June has always meant swimming holes, flip-flops and relentless sunshine, and just taking my foot off the gas. June signifies leisure, or more aptly, ease, to me. Probably due to an ingrained, persisting echo from childhood summer vacations. No, I don't have three months of hangin' at the municipal pool ahead of me, but I still feel freer in June than I do, say, in January.
3. And lastly, because I am, brace yourselves, IN LOVE. It's been a little while now, long enough to know I've got a good, good thing going. I am humbled, feeling lucky and surprised. This new thing is largely responsible for my complete bloggy absence of late. Sorry about that. Anyway, he is lovely, and I am having a really, REALLY great time.
I hope you're having a fabulous June, too!
